See Section 13 of the 2010 SCHSL Swimming Rules (page B9) for detailed instruction on posting certified timesThe
host team in each regular-season meet is responsible for submitting times for
all teams in a meet to the goeasyware.com website within 3 days of the meet or no later than 24 hours before the State Meet entry deadline,
whichever comes first. In other words, you can't wait until 24 hours before the State Meet entry deadline to post all your times from the season. If you do not have
EasyMeet Manager, email
david.abineri@gmail.com for instructions.
Times are submitted by creating a
meet backup file (in
EasyMeet Manager: FILE, BACKUP CURRENT MEET) and
emailing to
david.abineri@gmail.com (David Abineri) using the subject heading
SCHSL. You must indicate if the meet was in
yards or meters. Also indicate clearly in the email whether the teams were all
4A, 3A & under, or a mix. If a mix, indicate which teams are 4A, 3A & under, or
non-SCHSL teams.
Special Rules for Certified Times Posting of manually-scored meets. IF YOU SCORE MEETS MANUALLY, you must you a spreadsheet (
click here for spreadsheet) to facilitate the submission of certified times. This spreadsheet is ONLY to be used if you do
not use
EasyMeet Manager to run and score your meets. If you use the spreadsheet then EACH team in a meet must submit their own times unless the host team agrees to submit for all teams. Only submit
Consideration times or faster.
Only submit new times for a swimmer if the new time is faster than the old time. If you submit times using the spreadsheet, submit only raw times.
Do NOT convert anything. David Abineri at goeasyware.net will convert from meters to yards if necessary. You must indicate in the subject line of the email whether meet was in yards or meters and whether all the teams were 4A, 3A & under, or a mix. If a mix, indicate which teams are 4A, 3A & under, or non-SCHSL teams.
If you use some other software please email
david.abineri@gmail.com for instructions.
Teams must be identified using the
standard 3-letter SC High School abbreviations listed on the the
High School Abbreviations page.
Times in rank order should appear on the goeasyware.net site within 24 hours. Each coach should check the times on this site carefully to be sure the listing is accurate.
Times posted on the goeasyware.net website are considered official entry times for the State Meet. If you do not send in times to the goeasyware.net website, then those times are not valid entry times for the State meet. You do
NOT need to send in paper copies of certified times to the SCHSL. You
DO need to keep certified copies (signed by all coaches at the meet and the meet referee) of meet results in case validation of times is required.
State Meet entry procedures will be emailed to each coach and the Athletic Director at each school. For this reason, it is important that we have a good email address for each coach. The email address should be
one you can access any time so that last minute communications (like problems with entries) can be addressed.
